About.
MDCAT Ready exists for one reason: to help a Pakistani medical aspirant walk into the MDCAT ready to answer one more question correctly.
One purpose
The MDCAT is 180 multiple-choice questions in 180 minutes, and for most students it is the single most important exam of their year. MDCAT Ready is not a video platform, a social study network, or a subscription that follows you around. It is a focused practice tool with one job: maximise your MDCAT score.
Every screen has to earn its place by answering a single question — will this help the student answer one more MCQ correctly? Anything that doesn't, we leave out. No videos, no confetti, no gamified streaks for show. The tone is “be ready”, not “good job”.
Study where the marks are
One idea shapes the whole app: study is weighted by exam-day marks, not by treating subjects equally. Biology alone is 45% of the exam — 81 of 180 questions. A weak Biology topic is worth more than a weak Physics topic because it carries more marks, and the app orients you toward exactly that, from the home screen down.
Truthfulness is the product
This is a one-shot, paid product used during a tight few-week window. A wrong answer key, a fabricated statistic, or a miscalibrated claim doesn't just look bad — it costs a real student real marks. So we hold a simple line: if a fact isn't sourced, it stays blank. Progress that hasn't been earned isn't shown as earned. The numbers you see in the app and on this site are honest floors, not marketing inflation.
Built for one student
A Pakistani student sitting the MDCAT — often on a low-end Android phone or an older iPhone, frequently offline, under real time pressure. That's who every decision is made for. The app works entirely offline, needs no account, and is a one-time purchase because that student shouldn't be paying rent on their own exam prep.
