Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MDCAT Ready mobile application and this website (together, “the Service”), published by Tormelo Software (SMC-Private) Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

MDCAT Ready is an offline study tool that provides practice questions, mock exams, and study aids for the MDCAT examination. It is an independent product intended to support your own study — it does not guarantee any particular exam result, admission, or score.

Not Affiliated With the PMDC

MDCAT Ready is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) or any university or examination board. “MDCAT” and all institution and board names are used for descriptive and identification purposes only; all trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or create derivative works from the app's content (including questions, explanations, and study material), or attempt to reverse-engineer the app, except as permitted by law.

Purchases

The App is free to use for its Biology content. Unlocking all subjects and features is a one-time in-app purchase (Rs 1,499) processed by Google Play. All payments, receipts, and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms and refund policy. We do not process or store payment information.

Accuracy of Content

We work hard to keep the app's content accurate and to source it responsibly. Even so, study material may contain errors, and the exam and its syllabus can change. The Service is provided for study support only and is not a substitute for official syllabi or professional guidance. If you spot an error, please tell us at hello@tormelo.com so we can fix it.

Your Data

The Service stores your practice history and preferences locally on your device and does not transmit them to us. You are responsible for your device and for any backups. Uninstalling the app or resetting progress will delete that data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tormelo Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any exam outcome.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
