MDCAT Ready (“the App”) is developed and published by Tormelo Software (SMC-Private) Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we handle information when you use the App and this website.

Information We Collect

The App does not collect, send or store personal information. Your practice history, scores and preferences stay on your device. The App never sends this data to us or another company. We do not run an App server, and you do not need an account.

In-App Purchases

You can make an optional one-time purchase in the App. Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive or store your payment or billing information. Google handles your payment data under Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The App has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service. It does not use any other service that collects user data. We do not track how you use it.

This Website

This website (getmdcatready.app) does not use cookies, advertising, or any third-party tracking.

We use self-hosted Umami to count visits and selected button actions. It records page views, referring pages, browser and device information, and an approximate location. Location estimates can be wrong, especially on mobile networks. Our website tools do not send your marks, answers, college lists, notes or selected files to analytics.

Our hosting and analytics systems receive your IP address when your browser connects. Umami uses it and browser information to estimate location and count separate visits. We do not track you across other websites.

We keep these statistics on our own server in Germany. Hetzner hosts the server in the European Union. We do not sell or share the data with advertising or analytics companies. Our policy limits detailed visit statistics to 24 months. Our website tracker is configured to respect your browser's “Do Not Track” setting.

Our own domain serves the pages, images and fonts. If you follow an external link, such as an official exam portal or Google Play, that website handles your visit under its own privacy rules.

Light and dark theme

When you change the website's light or dark theme, we save that choice in this browser's local storage. It does not contain your marks or identity details. Clearing this website's browser storage removes the saved choice. It may also remove a college worksheet you chose to save.

Website tools and saved worksheets

“Share page” and “Copy page link” use only the public page title and clean link. They do not include marks or notes, and they remove query strings and page fragments. If you choose another app in your device's share menu, that app has its own privacy rules. A completed share-menu action does not tell us who received the link.

The embeddable aggregate calculator has no analytics, advertising or stored theme setting. It does not save marks or send them to us or the surrounding website. A different website may still have its own tracking and forms. We do not offer an email or WhatsApp update subscription at present.

The mistake-list tool keeps your study notes in the current page. It does not upload or automatically save them. We count only completed copy actions, download starts and opened print dialogs, without the notes, topics, reasons or dates. Exports contain what you entered. Clearing the page does not erase those copies. Do not add personal documents or contact details.

Marks entered in the calculators, answers entered in the key checker and text entered in the college worksheet are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded. The key checker does not save your entries. We may count actions such as a successful calculation or a worksheet download, but do not include your marks, results, paper codes, answers, college names or notes in those statistics.

The first-year cost planner also works in your browser. Your budget, amounts, college label and source notes are not uploaded, saved by the website or included in visit statistics. Copy, download and print include these entries only when you choose that action. Clearing the page does not remove those copies from your clipboard, files or printouts. Keep them private.

The college worksheet saves nothing automatically. If you choose “Save on this device”, it stores your college list and checkboxes in this browser's local storage. It is not an account, backup or copy held by us. Anyone using the same browser may be able to load it. Avoid saving on shared devices. “Clear list and saved copy” removes this worksheet's saved copy. It does not remove downloaded files, printouts or clipboard copies. You must clear those separately if needed. Browser settings can also remove the saved worksheet.

The file-size tool reads a selected file on your device. It checks a small part of the file to identify its format and image dimensions. It does not open PDF contents. Image copies are made in your browser, with no upload or website storage. We never include file names, file contents, sizes or image dimensions in visit statistics. Clearing the tool removes its selection and preview, but not downloaded copies. Browsers may cache local data; this is not a secure-erasure service.

Children's Privacy

The App is for students preparing for the MDCAT. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App does not collect or send personal data.

Data Security

Your data stays on your device. Your screen lock, device encryption and other device security protect it. We cannot access this data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If you keep using the App, you accept the updated policy.

Contact Us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send. We use it to answer your request. Do not send passwords, OTPs, identity documents or result cards. An email does not subscribe you to marketing.
