4. Separate confirmed costs from estimates

Include tuition, admission charges, deposits, housing, travel and basic study costs. A blank cost is unknown, not zero. Ask when each payment is due and which amounts are refundable.

5. Before submission

Check the order of college choices together. Check that the programme is recognised and that you can cover its costs. The student should read the final form before paying and submitting.
