What should I study next?

Review copy · prepared 6 September 2026 · teacher review pending. Not an official PMDC document.

Use a practice paper with a checked answer key. A mock score helps you plan. It does not predict admission.

1. Check where the marks are

  • Biology: 81 of 180 questions (45%)
  • Chemistry: 45 of 180 questions (25%)
  • Physics: 36 of 180 questions (20%)
  • English: 9 of 180 questions (5%)
  • Logical Reasoning: 9 of 180 questions (5%)

Start with a weak topic that appears in the syllabus. Give more attention to subjects with more questions, but cover all five.

2. Find the reason for one mistake

Did you not know the idea, misread the question, make a calculation error, or run out of time?

Question reference or topic:

Why I got it wrong:

The rule or step I need to remember:

3. Try it again without the answer

Study the explanation. Later, cover it and try the question again. Check your work against the key.

When I will try again:

What do I do after the exam?

Review copy · prepared 6 September 2026 · teacher review pending. Check current official notices before acting.

1. Check the correct result

For HSSC, choose the right board, year, part, group and exam session. For MDCAT, use your conducting university.

Match the answer key to your paper and booklet. A key check is not your final result. Use the official process if you find an error.

My official result page:

2. Check the admission route

Find the notice for your province, programme and seat category. NUMS has its own route. Do not copy another student's deadline.

Programme and route:

Deadline, time and official notice link:

3. Plan with your family

Check recognition for the programme, current fees, travel and housing. Ask about charges you cannot confirm.

Keep passwords, OTPs, identity documents and result cards private. Submit through the official portal yourself.

One cost or document we still need to check:

4. Do not stop at the pass mark

Passing MDCAT does not guarantee a seat. The national aggregate formula uses 50% MDCAT, 40% HSSC and 10% SSC. Your route's eligibility and merit rules still apply.

Formula source: PMDC Admissions Regulations 2025 and admission FAQs; checked 6 September 2026. No deadline is filled in here. Copy it only from your own current notice.
